Fabulous 4 days 3 successful events

It’s been a fabulous 4 days and 3 successful events for Les Amis de Meadowbrook.  And Mother Nature, our key supporter, played her role too.

Benefit Night on Thursday May 3rd at the Comedy Nest drew a capacity crowd of supporters for Les Amis’ vision to create Meadowbrook as an urban, nature and heritage park open to all.

Meadowbrook Jane’s Walk

Our Meadowbrook Jane’s Walk on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday May 6th attracted 30 and 50 people. Dida Berku led the Walks and talked about our 24-year history of Les Amis’s efforts to save Meadowbrook’s greenspace.  Patrick Asch, biologists, Héritage Laurentien and David Fletcher, biologist and teacher, Green Coalition discussed the diversity and importance of Meadowbrook’s biodiversity aspects and its connectivity to other greenspaces in the area like the Falaise.
